Stefanie and I just finished watching James Scurlock’s documentary, “Maxed Out.” If you’ve ever wondered about how bad the credit industry is in this country then check out this film for an eye-opening look at an growing problem in the U.S.
Having been through the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University class, we weren’t as shocked as I imagine some would be after watching this movie. However, it was heart-breaking to see interviews with people whose loved ones had actually committed suicide because they owed so much money to credit card companies and were unable to pay due to over-limit fees and sky high interests rates.
