About 5 years ago we had a lot of fun with a “Duct-Tape” themed Father’s day service so…we’re bringing it back! You know that guys everywhere just love duct-tape. Maybe it’s because it’s gray (our favorite color), or because is durable, or because it makes that cool sound when you rip a new piece off of the roll. I think it’s because it just makes everything easier to fix.
We’re going to have some fun playing a couple games, giving away some prize money, and making sure that every dad in the audience gets a little gift.
For the message I plan to talk about how duct-tape provides an interesting parallel to the kind of men we should be in our daily lives as believers in Christ. Our scripture passage will be Titus 2:6-8.
