Kingdom Seeds

What happens when we decide to “get off the bench” spiritually and physically and dive into God’s work for the purpose of building his kingdom? I love this passage in Mark (4:26-29) because it really emphasizes the fact that the Kingdom of God is built by God alone – but He still uses us. Even if we’re not sure exactly how we can be used.

We had a great Easter service this last Sunday. We celebrated with a record attendance of 350, had 6 decisions to follow Christ, and welcome many new families to the church. It was truly awesome!

Today I preached a message at LifePoint on the Biblical characters of Judah & Tamar (Genesis 38). Though the message was longer than I hoped (44 mins) I was very pleased with how it turned out. The image that you see above this post is a slide that I used during the beginning of the message to inform families that the content of the message contained some adult themes. Most people don’t even know that Moses’s mother even had a name – but believe me, she’s mentioned in the Bible!
