Keeping track of restaurants with Foursquare

I am a life hacker.  Love it.  I’ll look for any opportunity to use technology to give me that little edge that I need.  When I travel, I like to keep track of great restaurants.  Sometimes, you need to remember that great place that you ate at.  But, your friends also want recommendations.  Do this and you will be able to come to the aid of your friends.

All you have to do is to check-in to Foursquare.  I have tried and tried to find a great use for Foursquare.  I really don’t care about dumb little badges or being the mayor of where I work, workout or eat.  But, I have found it to be a valuable aid to help you keep up with where you have been.

When you are at that great restaurant (or anywhere you want to remember), check in on Foursquare.  Then, when you need to know what that great restaurant is that you went to in Vegas, you just have to go to your Foursquare profile in the app.  Then, search your “history”.  That’s all there is to it.
